General

Woof, waf, growl, bark, woof?

I think your dog is trying to ask if he can come to Geversduin. Good news! That's possible! We have a special camping area, De Hoepse Beek, where dogs are more than welcome. Just keep it on a leash! Would you prefer something a bit more luxurious? Then go for our cool Duin Kebbin or the modern Plastic Huis. Your loyal four-legged friend is more than welcome in these comfortable accommodations!

What's the name of that guy who always goes fishing with the kids?

That's Gjalt! He has his own beachcombing museum on the campsite and often goes fishing withguest of all ages. Want to know where and when? Check the activity programm.

When does the campsite open?

Camping Geversduin is open from the end of March to the end of October. The camping is closed during the winter period, but the reception remains accessible all year round.

From what age can I come camping with you?

Without parents or guardians, you may come camping with us from the age of 21 . Please note that Camping Geversduin is a family campsite and for this reason young people camping without supervision cannot be admitted.

Can I stay with you with a group?

Camping Geversduin is a family campsite. Please note that camping or staying in groups, regardless of age, can be refused.

When is it quiet at the campsite?

To ensure that everyone can enjoy a good night's sleep, we ask our guests to be considerate of the neighbours after 22:00. A tent or caravan offers less privacy than an insulated house, which makes sounds such as television and social gatherings more audible. We therefore ask you to take this into account and to minimise the noise. In this way we hope that everyone can enjoy a wonderful holiday and come home refreshed!

Can I drive onto the campsite with my car?

Standard one car per booking has access to the campsite and the parking lot. Depending on where you stay, access to the campsite is only on the day of arrival and departure, or during your entire stay. The barrier works automatically based on license plate. The campsite barrier is open from 07:00 to 22:00, while the parking lot is accessible 24 hours a day. Guest are free, but visitors pay to park in that parking lot. The first half hour is on us. A maximum speed of 5 km/h applies on the campsite. Motorcycles and scooters are not allowed on the site; parking is safe next to the reception.

I don't have a reservation with you. Can I still come and visit for a day?

Would be fun! The first parking lot is free and open during the day. Rather park closer to our campsite? We welcome visitors at the reception. A parking ticket for the lot with the supervised gate can be purchased for a certain fee. The first half hour is on us!

I received a dune card. What do I need it for?

The campsite is located in the beautiful North Holland Dune Reserve. To enter this reserve you need a dune card. If you camp with us, you will receive this via e-mail from us upon arrival.

Can I make a fire at the campsite?

Here we have to be strict: fires are not allowed on the campsite. Be wise and prevent spreading flames. Open fires, such as wood fires or charcoal barbecues, are not allowed.

Is barbecuing allowed at the campsite?

Barbecuing is allowed! We kindly ask you to do this with a gas or electric barbecue because we are staying in a vulnerable dune area and fire is prohibited.
