Game, set, match... Viva Padel!
In the centre of the sports field of Camping Geversduin, lays a beautiful outdoor padel court, amidst nature. Challenge each other and play the match of a lifetime!
Padel is an ideal sportive activity when your staying at one of our camping spots or spending the night in an accommodation. But, also when you're not a guest at our campsite, you may use the padel cage. Nice to know is, you don't need a membership but may rent the court, rackets and balls per hour when you feel like playing. How relaxed is that?
Practical information Opening hours
The padel court is bookable every day of the week, also in winter time. The first time slot is from 10 am and the last slot lasts to 7 pm at most. The court has great lighting for the darker days. With renting the padel cage, you'll get a bag which contains the key, 4 rackets and balls. You may collect all this 15 minutes prior to your playing time.
Has the reception closed before returning the stuff? Please return everything at Restaurant Knoest on the centrum square, on the left.
You'll find the court at the sports field, it's a 10 minutes walk from the reception. Can't miss it!

Padel is a fun mix of tennis and squash with its origins in Mexico and it's very popular in Latin America and Spain. On our padel court, within a cage with glass walls, you usually play with 4 people (2 against 2). The small playing field and the walls bring a lot of dynamics and creativity to the game. Even if the ball passes you may still get a chance to hit it back via the wall.
De spelregels op een rijtje:
- Je speelt met 4 spelers: 2 tegen 2
- De puntentelling is hetzelfde als bij tennis
- De service moet onderhands en diagonaal worden gespeeld, en eerst stuiteren
- De bal mag eenmaal op de grond stuiteren voordat hij het hekwerk of de wand raakt
- Je mag de bal via de eigen wand retourneren
- Een bal die rechtstreeks tegen de glazen wand of het hekwerk aan de kant van de tegenstanders komt, is uit
