Knoest Eten en Drinken is a childfriendly restaurant with a good atmosphere, on Camping Geversduin in Castricum. Inside our restaurant and on our terrace you'll be able to enjoy natural luxury, amidst a cool, sustainable interior. Knoest is the ideal place to sit back and relax with a good coffee and cake. For lunch we serve great pitah's and grilled cheese, after that everybody savors our pizza's, pie's and snacks to share. Have a taste of our signature drinks as well! The kids will have endless fun within our playgrounds.
Reuse, reduce and recycle Naturally delicious
Knoest has a focus on sustainability, just as the vision of Camping Geversduin: Reuse, reduce and recycle. The interior is a good example of how we try to make our ecological footprint as tiny as possible. We've used a lot of industrial materials combined with great use of greenery. A real eyecatcher is the unique moss wall, which provides a snug atmosphere. A lot of the materials used are recycled. Some tables for example are made from wood of local trees which have fallen during a storm.

The menu has been composed with a lot of care and offers a wide range of suprisingly good dished, made with respect for our environment. Savor the pure flavours our food and beverages at one of the most beautiful places of North-Holand. Knoest is committed to make a difference in the world, which begins on your plate. Eating and drinking with love, with a choice of organic items and local artisan products.
Climbing, clambering, jump and mess around!
Knoest really is a paradise for kids. Directly at the edge of the terace lies a challenging, natural playground where water and sand are the most important elements. This means hours of fun! Climbing and clambering, with as a literal high light the lookout tower at the experience path, and of course the air trampoline. From the restaurant, you'll have a good sight on the water playground behind Knoest. Walk in the water weel or use the sprinklers and pumps to make the water flow.

Enjoy our own delicious brew! Noest beer
A lovely sunny day, the kids are playing and you are enjoying a lovely Noest beer with some bites. That sounds as the ultimate holiday feeling, right? Get to know our own beer: Noest! Together with brewery Dampegheest Limmen, we produced this beautiful beer for Knoest Eten en Drinken. A firm amber coloured beer with a suprising bitterness. Traditionally unfiltered, not pasteurised and with secondary fermentation so all natural flavours and aroma's stay intact.
Our Noest beer already was available as a draft beer, but we now also have bottles. Experience the true vacation vibes and order a Noest at our terrace! The bottles are also available inside the Minimarket.
Unique gin inspired by our wonderful dune area Geversgin
The sturdy blend of Geversgin contains the following flavour notes: juniper, seaweed, buckthorn, black pepper, orange peel and grapefruit. Geversgin lovers are adventurous, they love freedom and enjoy life! With this drink you'll put an end to the day and a crown on the evening. Geversgin of course is best drunk at Camping Geversduin in Castricum! But have you become a fan? Then gift someone a nice bottle.
Our unique gin is sold at the minimarket, we offer a luxurious package containing a bottle of 500ml. A tasteful reminder of Knoest and Camping Geversduin, or a beautiful gift!

Quickly send some e-mails during your holiday? Or keen to enjoy nature whilst working? Or... just fancy a better cup of coffee and experience some holiday feeling during your office day? Open your laptop at Knoest! We have good wifi, there's power and enough on the menu to get through the day. We will have a special remote working-deal in autumn and winter.
Endless fun
Is the weather wet and fall-like, or rushes the cold winter wind around Knoest? Inside the cozy restaurant stands a wooden train track for the little ones and a interactive sand table where kids can build entire kingdoms. In between the playing, both young and old enjoy our famous hot chocolate. You want it! The children quickly have something to eat and continue playing with their friends!
