Just 15 minutes away... Day at the coast

Baking sand tarts for hours, participating in a beachvolleyball tournament, or enjoying a nice, summer drink at one of the beach clubs, all is possible! The beach entrances of Heemskerk and Castricum are close to Camping Geversduin. Heemskerk is the nearest (4km) and this beach is nice and quiet. I'ts not possible to drive here by car, but there is one fine pavilion. Castricum aan Zee is a little further (6km) but vibrant and offering everything you need. Of course, you're able to go further along the coastline... Wijk aan Zee and the north pier are also worth a visit, especially when you're craving for water sports.

Like having a little bit of an active vacation? Combine your stay with surfing lessons or learn how to kite. For doglovers: The beach is an ideal place for your furry companion!

It is beautiful to walk and cycle through the North Holland Dune Reserve

The fastest route to the beach is via the Bredeweg, right next to the campsite!

Take your flipflops and go... Castricum aan Zee

The beach of Castricum aan Zee offers a wide range of restaurants and beach clubs where you're able to enjoy a nice drink or meal. Events like weddings, party's and beachgames are being held here on a regular basis. Of course the beach is a great place to kite, practice windsurfing or ride some waves on your board!

The Castricum beach provides public, free bicycle parking facilities. It's also possible to drive there by car, there is a large parkinglot for all types of vehicles, for which you have to pay. It might be getting a little crowded on the real sunny days, with a queue for the parking area.

Vamos a la Playa! Cycling to the beach

Renting bikes is easy via 'My Geversduin', the app or at the reception. We offer a wide range of bikes, including models for both children and adults, electric bikes, tandems and more. Whether you want to cycle to the beach or explore the villages nearby, we have the right bike for you!

Watersports

There's so much to do when you're visiting the beach. Besides walking (with the dog) you may go swimming, rent a sup board, go surfing or learn how to kite. In the neighbourhood Surfschool Castricum is located, here you're able to rent everything you need for a day on the water. Going a little further down the coastline, you'll find The HangOut where everybody can take surfing lessons or practice other watersports. The North Pier offers some of the best waves when it's a little windy, this is one of the wellknown surf spots in the Netherlands!
