Both you and your dog will have the holiday of a lifetime at Camping Geversduin. We offer a special camping area, called the Hoepse Beek, where dogs are more than welcome. Go camping amidst the beautiful nature and take the dog (or two) with you!
Do you prefer some more luxury? Then choose an accommodation like the comfortable Duin Kebbin or the modern Plastic Huis. Your loyal companion is our favourite guest, also in the luxurious holiday homes. Enjoy a nice bed, fully equipped kitchen and your own bathroom. And the dog... he will have an wonderful vacation spent in and around your cozy cabin.
Beastly weather
Have fun in the sand! From 1 October, dogs are allowed on the beach during the day again. At most locations, they may run completely free. Book yourself a wonderful weekend away with your best dog friend and come camping or stay in an accommodation at Geversduin.
Comfort and safety Your dog is welcome
At Camping Geversduin a maximum of two dogs are allowed per family. Of course safety and comfort are on top of our mind. That's why on our campsite, the central square, the terrace and in the dune reserve a leash requirement applies. Are you visiting Geversduin any time soon? And will you be taking your four legged, furry but indispensable family member with you? We have a special dog shower at the sanitary building on the Hoepse Beek to get that filthy paws clean after long walks.
Dogs must be on a leash at all times. Other animals, like cats, are not allowed on the campsite.
The forest, dunes and beach around Camping Geversduin are the ultimate place to walk the dog and relax.
Endless fun
When you and your dog leave the campsite, you'll immediately set foot (or paw) in the North Holland Dune Reserve. An area with a size over 5300 hectares, containing dunes, forests and the coastline. Here, you and your dog may wander for hours through nature and have a blast at the beach. With the dunecard which you'll receive upon your arrival as a guest at Geversduin, you have acess to the entire area. Various walking and cycling routes start at the road next to the campsite. Let's have the greatest fun!

Castricum/ Heemskerk
30 April - 1 October:
Only allowed between 7 pm & 10 am, then the dog may walk freely.
1 October - 30 April:
The dog is welcome on the beach the entire day (free).
Wijk aan Zee
1 May - 1 October:
North/main entrance: only allowed between 7 pm & 9 am, and on a leash.
1 October - 1 May:
The dog is welcome on the beach the entire day (leash). At the south beach, called 'Vliegerpad' dogs are welcome the whole year.
Egmond aan Zee
1 May - 1 October:
Dogs are allowed on the beach, but must be kept on a leash. Between beach post 25 to 38 and 40, dogs are not allowed.
1 October - 1 May:
The dog is welcome on the beach the entire day (free).
Dirty paws?
There is a dog shower at the sanitary building 'Aarde' where you can wash your best, furry friend after playing or swimming in the sea. This way you keep your tent, caravan or accommodation clean!
